In Britain there are special songs which are sung during the Christmas season. The songs are known as carols and they are about Jesus and the time when he was born. They were written for a special purpose, often to accompany performances of religious dramas dating from medieval times.
TASK: Listen to the following christmas melodies. Do you recognize the carol? Do we sing these Christmas carols aswell in Germany?
