Christmas dinner
The Christmas Dinner is the main Christmas meal and it is usually eaten at mid-day or early afternoon. The traditional dinner includes:
-roast turkey: the turkey has to be put into the oven early in the morning and needs to be cooked all day long.
-brussels sprouts: a kind of vegetables we also know in Germany, it tastes is a bit bitter therefore a lot of children don’t like it.
-roast potatoes,
-cranberry sauce,
-stuffing: is put into the turkey,
-tiny sausages wrapped in bacon and
-gravy.
For dessert there's always a rich fruit pudding, e.g. a nice fruitcake.
